Leadership and Management Working Group   

Co-Conveners:    Judith Evans (Emeritus)  and Youssef Hajjar (Arab Resource Collective)

Purpose:                             
This Working Group will explore how best to support the development of both leadership and management in relation to ECCD programming and policy development.  While there is clearly a need to develop ECCD leadership from a strategic perspective in order to move the ECCD sector forward nationally and internationally, there is an equally important challenge to build the capacity of people to become good managers of ECCD programmes to ensure quality provision.  The Working Group will seek to map current opportunities in leadership and management training, identify gaps in provision and perhaps develop new opportunities, depending on the interests of those who join the group.
