• Organising one Annual Consultation meeting each year
  • Convening of Working Groups that focus on key areas of work, including the 4 Cornerstones, young children in emergencies, young children and HIV/AIDS and the impact of climate change on young children and implications for policy and programming
  • Publishing of the Coordinators’ Notebook annually, and other communication materials/products
  • Ongoing updating and development of the CGECCD website as a clearing house for early childhood
  • Attending and actively being involved in key fora, international, regional meetings
  • Supporting existing regional or sub-regional Early Childhood networks and other regional actors
  • Identifying key people, particularly from Majority World countries and regions, who can provide technical advice on programming, policy, evaluation and research
  • Providing regular email news-updates and circulating of Early Childhood materials and information
